Mac users!!! Is anyone here experiencing the problem of not being able to download videos on your site when you CTRL Click on a video with OS X 10.5??? We had a subscriber that just upgraded and he is no longer able to do this. All that he gets is an HTML file to download now!!!!!! Our Mac with 10.4.9 is able to download with no problem.
Any suggestions? anybody willing to help me out with this... email me at dave at twixil.com for the first five, I am offering a 10 day free pass to our site to work thru this. If you solve the problem.. what the hell... I'll up it to 60 days... DG littlemutt.com

After reading your post, I tried every imaginable scenario (given my limited capacity for thought......that may not be much) to effect the same circumstance. It worked fine.
Has the same problem existed with the use of a two button mouse, eliminating the necessity for the "control" button? |

Solution: let the video download within the browser window, then click on the down arrow in the bottom right corner of the playback window and select "Save as Quicktime Movie" - worked fine for me! |

Occurs with both Safari and Firefox 3.0. Another poster suggested viewing content live and then doing a "save as." This is unacceptably slow.

Hi Dave,
Dave here. I am going to go and upgrade our G5 to Firefox 3.0 right now and see what I can come up with. Can you tell me if the problem you are experiencing is with all of our videos or specific ones? Also, can you tell me if you are trying to view our Mpg or Wmv files and if it's the WMV files, do you have Flip4Mac installed. Hopefully a more complete answer to this problem will be forthcoming. Just retried with Safari 3.1.2 and Firefox 3.0. Problem occurs with all media -- WMV, MPG, MP4, and zipped files. I verified that cookies are enabled. (Just upgraded to OS X 10.5.4 and problem still occurs.)
