Something I just discovered tonight:
If you have iPod videos that you downloaded over a year or so ago, then you will not be able to add them to your iPod (Tested on iPod Classic Video - 5th Gen) if they have .mpeg extension. Luckily there is no need to convert them, or even re-DL them (appears all the DLs are now fixed), because all you have to do is change it to .mp4 instead of .mpeg It is amazing that iTunes will not let you do it for the same exact video when it has a .mpeg extension even if it is the same internal data. This is just an FYI in case anyone is wondering why iTunes doesn't let you drag and drop or autosync it into your 5th Gen iPod, in which case it would display this error message: [Video_Name] could not be copied to the iPod [iPod_Name] because it cannot be played on this iPod Hope it helps someone out there and saves them some time. |
